Student profile
The single screen for everything about one student. Tap any student row anywhere — Active list, Class list, Search result — to open it.
Tabs inside
- OVERVIEW — quick stats (current class, attendance %, fees paid vs due, dues this month).
- IDENTITY — name, admission no, DOB, gender, blood group, religion, caste, Aadhaar / PEN / Birth-cert. Critical-field edits (Name, DOB, Aadhaar) require an approval flow — see Approvals.
- CONTACT — address, phone, email.
- FAMILY — Father / Mother / Guardian details. Edit-pencil shows only when Editor Mode is on.
- FEES — installments, payment history, write-offs.
- ATTENDANCE — month-by-month per-student grid.
- TRANSPORT — current assignment + Change / Cancel buttons.
- HISTORY — past-year academic records (class promoted, fees paid that year, attendance %).
- DOCS — Photo / Aadhaar / Birth-Cert / TC upload & download.
Top-right action menu
- Issue TC (red) — for students leaving school.
- Move Class — mid-year section / class transfer.
- Reset Parent Password — generates a fresh temp password for the linked parent.
FAQs
Why don't I see the edit pencil on every field?
It only shows when Editor Mode is ON. That's a 30-minute privileged-write window for sensitive edits (renaming a student, changing parent phone, etc.). Toggle from Profile → top-right.
Can I change a student's class mid-year?
Yes — open profile → Move Class. Pick the new class + section. Attendance & fees continue under the same year record; a movement history row is logged for audit.
Critical field change (Name / DOB / Aadhaar)?
These go through a Change Request flow. Tap the field with Editor Mode on → submit a reason + proof document. The super-admin (or an additional principal) approves before the change actually applies. Prevents a single person from rewriting a student's identity silently.
